Florence Evelyn (Bolen) Tebbets, 93, of Torrance, CA, died peacefully on Thursday, January 15, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Gardner on November 9, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Amelia (Cielica) Bolen

Florence was known for her kindness and creative spirit. She found great joy in crafting and generously shared her time through volunteer work, forming many lasting friendships along the way. Above all, she cherished her family and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son, Steven Tebbets and his wife Gail of Ventura, California; her daughter, Judith Stump and her husband Michael of Plymouth, Indiana; her sisters, Anne (Bolen) Bergevin (101) and Albina (Bolen) Gautreau (95), both of Gardner, Massachusetts; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She was predeceased by her son, James Tebbets; her sister, Agnes (Bolen) Cormier; and her brother, Felix Bolen.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 30, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, Massachusetts. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery, West Street, Gardner, in the spring.
