Ernest E. LeBlanc

Ernest "Ernie"E. LeBlanc, 68, of 10 Elizabeth St., Gardner and formerly of Hubbardston, died Wednesday in UMASS Medical Center, Worcester, following a short illness.
Born in Gardner on May 10, 1935, he was the son of Elie and Vitaline (Robichaud) LeBlanc.
He was an assembler employed by C & W Co. of Gardner for 10 years, retiring in 1997. He was previously employed by the former Collier-Keyworth Co. of Gardner.
He received his GED at Mount Wachusett Community College.
He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. He was a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council #396 of Gardner.
Mr. LeBlanc was an avid runner and ran several Boston Marathons including the 100th Boston Marathon. He was a bus monitor for the Guild of St. Agnes, Gardner and was an enthusiastic sportsman.
He leaves his wife of 48 years, Ann B. (Johnson) LeBlanc of Gardner; 3 sons, Ernest E. LeBlanc Jr., James M. LeBlanc, both of Gardner, and David A. LeBlanc of E. Templeton; 2 daughters, Laura A. Beauregard of Gardner and Sarah E. Parks of Torrington, CT; 3 sisters, Dorilla Borkowski, Evelyn Belliveau both of Gardner and Loretta Ryan of Daytona, FL; 7 grandchildren, Christina, Megan, Nicholas, Zachary, Daynah, Marcus and Marisa; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Monday from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner with a Mass at 12:30 p.m. in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 166 Cross St., Gardner.

Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Gardner.

Calling hours at the funeral home are Sunday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
