Eleanor (Hebert) Ingves Babineau

Eleanor (Hebert) Ingves Babineau, 97, of Titusville, FL, formerly of Leominster and Gardner, MA died peacefully Monday, June 30, 2025.

Eleanor was born March 18, 1928, in Gardner, MA, the daughter of the late Edmond and Claire (Brouillet) Hebert. She attended Holy Rosary School and graduated from Gardner High School in 1947.

Eleanor worked at the bindery at Hatton Press, Jordan Marsh and then Ginn & Company until her retirement in 1988. She volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, the American Red Cross and served as a Eucharistic Minister at Leominster Hospital.

Eleanor is survived by her sons, Robert W. Ingves of Reading, MA, Richard R. Ingves of Boynton Beach, FL and daughter, Susan Meyer and her husband William Kim Meyer of Titusville, FL, stepson, David G.Babineau and his wife Sylvia of Gardner, MA , stepdaughters, Louise Tata and her husband John of Lunenburg, MA, and Diane Boucher and her husband Denis of Sandwich, MA., grandchildren, Alison Bresnahan, Troy Meyer, Rachel Drody and step grandchildren Jacob and Michael Babineau, Lauren Lakin, Ross Boucher and Melanie Hooker. She is also survived by her great grandchildren and leaves behind her sister-in-law, Anna Hebert, Wallace's two sisters Ruth Finne and Dorothy Walker, and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her first husband of 35 years, Wallace W. Ingves, and her second husband of 23 years George A. Babineau, and brothers, Raymond Hebert and Roger Hebert.

A Calling Hour will be held Tuesday, July 15, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA. Funeral Services will follow with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Annunciation Parish at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA. Burial will follow at Wildwood Cemetery, West Street, Gardner, MA.
