Elaine R. (Norcross) Clapp, 65, of 95 State Rd., Baldwinville, died Sunday in Heywood Hospital, Gardner, following an illness.
Born in Winchendon on June 4, 1938, she was the daughter of Clarence and Evelyn (Robichaud) Norcross.
She was employed in the Housekeeping Department of Baldwinville Nursing Home, Baldwinville, for several years, retiring in 1992.
She was a loving grandmother and was a loyal fan of the Boston Red Sox.
Her husband of 31 years, Harold C. Clapp, died in 1987.
She leaves a son, Harold "Butch" Clapp of Gardner; 2 daughters, Jo-Ann M. Paquin of Peterborough, NH and Lisa A. Higgins of Baldwinville; 2 sisters, Rita Allen of Gardner and Phyllis Heglin of Westminster; 7 grandchildren, 1 niece, 4 nephews and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Winchendon.
A calling hour at the funeral home will be Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Templeton Rescue Squad, PO Box 4, Baldwinville, MA 01436.
