Dorothy “Pat” A. (Cayon) Shea, 86, of Templeton, died peacefully Saturday, August 12, 2023, in her home after an illness.
Born in Roxbury on October 26, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Doris (Goodearl) Cayon. She graduated from Winthrop High School with the Class of 1954 and attended business school in Boston. Pat was a Cake Decorator employed by Market Basket for 15 years before her retirement in 2012.
Pat was a parishioner of Holy Cross Church of Templeton. She enjoyed coloring and sewing. Pat also loved to take trips to her favorite place, the beach. Her greatest joy was her family, treasuring all the special memories they made throughout the years.
Pat is survived by her two daughters, Diane Davis and her husband Harry of Pembroke, NH, and Jennifer Flagler and her husband Michael of Templeton; a son, Paul Desrosiers of Billerica; ten grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; a sister, Janet Norris of Weymouth; two brothers, Arthur Cayon and his wife Barbara of Moreno Valley, CA and Larry Cayon and his wife Marsha “Sandy” of Whitman; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband of 40 years, Thomas Shea; two sons, John, and David Desrosiers; a sister, Norma Gammell; and a brother, Roy Cayon.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, August 18, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA.
Calling Hours will be held Friday, August 18, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
