Doris C. (Boudreau) Thompson, 92, of Gardner, died peacefully Friday, May 12, 2023, in Heywood Hospital, Gardner.
Born in Bronson, New Brunswick, Canada, on August 11, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Rita (Dupuis) Boudreau. Doris was a Steel Worker employed by Collier-Keyworth of Gardner for many years prior to her retirement.
Doris was a parishioner of Annunciation Parish of Gardner, practicing at its Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church. She loved to keep busy working on arts and crafts, quilting, and painting. Doris also loved to go dancing. Her greatest joy was her family, always treasuring the time they spent together.
Doris is survived by her two daughters, Ann Arsenault of Gardner and Tammy Thompson of Gardner; six grandchildren, Carey, Nicole, and Jamie Arsenault and Jeremy, Ryan, and Tiffany Thompson; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a brother, Arthur Boudreau of Ontario, Canada; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Kenneth A. Thompson, who died in 2021; her son, Bryan Thompson, who died in 2020; and a sister, Sadie Kelley.
Graveside Services at Notre Dame Cemetery, West Street, Gardner, MA, will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
