Diane M. White, 69, of Gardner, died peacefully, Saturday, October 5, 2019, in Wachusett Manor Nursing Home following a long illness.
Born in Woburn, Massachusetts, on July 11, 1950, she was the daughter of Charles L. and Elizabeth (Parsons) White. Diane graduated from Woburn High School in Woburn, MA, with the Class of 1968. She was a letter carrier employed by the United States Postal Service for 22 years.
She was a member of the Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner. She enjoyed gardening, bingo, traveling, motorcycle rides, concerts, genealogy, and baking. She loved her animals, but her treasured times were with friends and family, especially her grandbabies.
Diane leaves her three daughters Mysti Short of Stafford Springs, CT, Christiane Short of Gardner, and Heather Favreau and her husband David of Gardner; two sons Michael Short Jr. and his wife Michael Ann of Ashburnham, and Joseph Short of Gardner; one brother Thomas White and his wife Marie of Kernersville, NC; one sister Elizabeth “Betty” Maguire and her husband William of Woburn; one sister-in-law Barabra White of Burlington, MA; four grandchildren, Alexis Rojo, Abigail Short, Matthew Favreau, and Channing Favreau; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Diane was predeceased by her life partner George L. LeBlanc who died in 2017 and one brother Charles White III.
A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, October 11th at 12 pm in the Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church 135 Nichols St. Gardner. Family and Friends are asked to report directly to the Church the day of the service.
