Denise Voisine, 64, of Gardner, died peacefully on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, in Quabbin Valley Healthcare.

Denise was born on March 18, 1962, in Edmundston, N.B., Canada to the late Roland G. and Annette (Lebel) Voisine. In the summer of 1965, the family moved from Canada to Gardner, MA. Denise attended elementary school at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary School, graduated from Gardner High School, with the Class of 1980, and went on to graduate with honors at the Wilfred Academy of Hair Design in 1982. Denise was a self-employed hairdresser and enjoyed cutting hair for so many people. She had a huge personality, and everyone loved her. She especially loved working with the older French ladies.

Denise enjoyed couples line dancing and especially loved the ocean beaches at Hampton and West Palm Beach. She loved traveling with Val to many places. They visited Canada, Mexico, Germany, Spain, Italy, France, Greece, Molta, Honduras, and many places in the U.S., including the West Coast and the South. She also cherished her family and friends and would do anything for them. She was known to so many as Dee.

Denise leaves her husband, Val Cormier of Gardner; two sisters, Colette and her husband, Roland Broeckel of Gardner, and Diane and her husband Sean Hamilton of Templeton; one nephew Patrick Hamilton, his wife Stacie, and their children Benjamin and McKenna; a step nephew, Chad Hamilton and his wife, Thia, and their daughters Cassidy and Kaylee, and their son, Landon; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Denise was predeceased by her father, Roland G. Voisine, who died in 2005, and her mother, Annette (Lebel) Voisine, who died in 2020.

The family would like to thank the entire staff at Quabbin Valley Healthcare for the care, love and compassion provided for Denise.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, October 8, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and on Friday, October 9, 2026 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home Inc. 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA 01440.
Funeral Services will follow from the funeral home on Friday, October 9, 2026 with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Annunciation Parish, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA. Burial will follow to Notre Dame Cemetery, West Street, Gardner MA 01440.
