Daniel Mastroianni, 70, of Gardner, died peacefully Monday, February 16, 2026, in Heywood Hospital, Gardner, after a period of declining health.

Born in Bristol, Connecticut, on October 31, 1955, he was the son of the late Antonio and Maddalena (Fazzone) Mastroianni. He graduated from Bristol (CT) High School with the Class of 1973. Daniel was employed for many years as a chemical reactor operator at Advanced Coatings in Westminster until his retirement.

Daniel was a devoted fan of the New England Patriots, faithfully supporting his team through both championship seasons and rebuilding years alike. He enjoyed the camaraderie that sports brought and the memories made while cheering them on. Above all, Daniel's greatest pride and joy was his family. He treasured the time spent together, holding close the laughter, stories, and memories shared throughout the years.

Daniel is survived by his daughter, Angela Mastroianni of Gardner; his grandson, Kealan Daniel; his sister, Victoria Dugo and her husband Jerry of Bristol, CT; his partner of 28 years, Anne Curtis of Gardner; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was predeceased by his brothers, John and Pasquale "Pat" Mastroianni, and a sister, Rose Chisar.

In accordance with Daniel's wishes, there will be no services.
