Curt Matthew Gauthier, 56, of Gardner, died peacefully Friday, November 18, 2022, in Heywood Hospital, Gardner.
Born in Gardner on October 17, 1966, he was the son of the late Wilfred “Butch” A. and Elaine M. (Beauregard) Gauthier. He graduated from Gardner High School with the Class of 1988. Curt worked in Data Entry at GAAMHA Inc., of Gardner for many years.
Curt was a parishioner of Annunciation Parish/ Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner. He was a life member of the Otter River Sportsman Club of Templeton and was a member of the Gardner Band Concert Committee for 7-years. Curt loved being out and about, whether he was fishing, shopping, dancing, attending band concerts, eating out or at the beach, he was always able to meet new friends along the way. He loved computers, which he was very gifted at, as well as visiting the elderly at the nursing home.
Curt is survived by his brother Jay T. Gauthier and his wife Sarah of Fayston, VT; several aunts, an uncle, and cousins.
He was predeceased by his brother, Dean R. Gauthier.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, December 7, 2022, with a Mass at 1:00 p.m. in Annunciation Parish at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, West Street, Gardner, MA.
