Craig G. "Grumpy" Gagne, 45, of 32 Pleasant St., South Ashburnham, died peacefully Friday, March 10th in UMASS Medical Center, Worcester, after a long illness.

Born in Gardner on February 21, 1961, he was the son of Rene and Leonette (Hebert) Gagne.

He was a member of St. Anne's Church, South Ashburnham. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and bingo.

Besides his parents of Gardner he leaves 1 daughter, Brandy Lopez and husband Frank of Webster; his fiancee of 20 years, Carmen Lindsey of Ashburnham; 1 stepdaughter, Jessica Lindsey of Harrisburg, PA; 2 brothers, Michael Gagne and wife Gizelle, Edmond Gagne and wife Theresa, all of Gardner; 4 sisters, Michelle LaBonte and husband Ronald, Kerry Galvan and husband Carlos, Rhonda Lison, Kandace Smart and husband John all of Gardner; 2 granddaughters, Rebecca and Celenia Lopez; 2 aunts, Patricia Portrie and June Hebert; 2 uncles, Harold Crossley and Ralph Taft; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother, James Gagne who died in 2001.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 14th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Anne's Church, 158 Center St., South Ashburnham. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.

Calling hours at the funeral home are Monday, March 13th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
