Corinne P LeBlanc

Corinne Priscilla LeBlanc passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus, surrounded by family on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at age 94, in Baldwinville Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Baldwinville, MA.

During WWII, Corinne organized and chaperoned a group of young ladies who joined the chief and largest group USO efforts in the United States at Fort Devens, MA offering recreation and morale boosting activities to the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces.
Corinne loved her buying trips to Boston and New York accompanied by her sister Rachel as well as with her cousin Jeannette Hallock. Over the years, J.A. LeBlanc, Inc. became a household name in the Gardner community, and many share memories of hours spent browsing the latest fashions.
Corinne had impeccable taste, and was well known for her chic fashion and exquisite hats. She loved music, traveling, and she enjoyed mapping out and planning her next adventure. She had traveled to Cape Cod, Hawaii, and also a tour of Europe. Corinne loved her family, and her family enjoyed many holidays and visits to her home. She had a wonderful talent for entertaining and decorating. Her family spent many hours creating lasting memories around her table.
Corinne leaves her 18 nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and great-nephews; and great-great nieces and great-great nephews. She was predeceased by sisters Rachel LeBlanc, Estelle Ford, Lucille Slack, Beatrice Adams; and brothers Roger LeBlanc and Alfred LeBlanc.

Guestbook

I was sorry to hear of Corinne's passing. I retain fond memories of Corinne taking me under her wing as a teenager (in the late 60's and early 70's) and giving me a part-time job at JA Leblanc's, working part-time during the school season and full-time during the summers. (I enjoyed learning retail and working with Corinne, Jeanette, Rachel, Sylvio and the other staff.) I wish to extend my sincerest sympathies to Corinne's family.
