Connor W. Leroy, 23, passed away in his sleep April 21, 2018, at his residence in Pink Hill, NC.
He was born in Louisville, KY on August 5, 1994, the son of Timothy H. Leroy and Kelly L. (Matthews) (Leroy) Bailey.
Connor was raised in Gardner and Templeton, graduating from Narragansett Regional High School in 2012.
He enlisted in the United States Marines in 2013. Connor served his Country reaching the rank of Lance Corporal. His last duty assignment was with the 2nd Tank Battalion, 2nd Marine Division at Camp Lejeune, NC. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, a Letter of Appreciation, Expert Rifle Qualification Badge and the Expert Pistol Qualification Badge.
Connor enjoyed fishing especially with his brother Cody, and he loved four-wheeling with his step-father, Kevin. He was a huge fan of the New England Patriots and loved watching them play. He mostly enjoyed spending time with his family. Connor was a caring, loving young man with a heart of gold. He was a people pleaser who was always willing to do anything for others. Connor will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Connor leaves his wife Julia "Nikki" (Jarman) Leroy and her daughter Khloe Newberne of Pink Hill, NC; his mother Kelly (Matthews) Bailey and her husband Kevin of Gardner; his father Timothy H. Leroy and his wife Cynthia (Hawke) of Winchendon; maternal grandmother Elaine Matthews of Orange; mother-in-law Sandra Ward Jarman; father-in-law Ricky Jarman and his wife Melissa; Connor also leaves his step-brother Cody Bailey; and step-sisters Ashley Bailey and Sarah Bailey; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased his maternal grandfather, Derrill C. Matthews; paternal grandparents, Larry and Anita Leroy; and cousins, Jason L. Dell and Adam R. Gallant.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, May 2nd at 11:00 a.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial with full Military Honors will be in Wildwood Cemetery, West Street, Gardner.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, May 1st from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
