Claire Ann Stovall, 80, of Manchester, NH, formerly of Gardner, died unexpectedly Monday, June 20, 2022, in her residence.

Born in Gardner on May 2, 1942, she was the daughter of the late George R. and Cecile M. (Vaillancourt) Stovall. She attended Our Lady of the Holy Rosary School of Gardner and graduated from the Marie Joseph Academy in Biddeford, ME, with the Class of 1959. Claire was a Teacher employed by the Manchester Public Schools in the Junior High School for 35-years prior to her retirement in 2013. She was previously employed by Our Lady of the Holy Rosary School of Gardner.

She was a parishioner at Annunciation Parish/ Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner prior to moving to Manchester. She was a member of the Children of Mary. Although Claire was a private person, teaching was her true passion and calling—bringing out the best in her each day.

Claire is survived by her three sisters, Kathleen G. Cormier and her husband Edward of Dudley, MA. Martha E. White of Rockport, MA, and Phyllis L. Sokolowski and her husband Michael of Hubbardston, MA, nieces and nephews, Susan Warren and her husband Michael of Gardner, Cheryl Landry of Hubbardston, Jennifer Whigham and her husband Richard of Spencer, Karen White of Malden MA. David E. Cormier and his wife Charlene of North Carolina, Michael Cormier of Dudley MA, and several great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

There are no services.
