Cecile C. "Queenie" Bouthot

Cecile C. "Queenie" (Fontaine) Bouthot, 90, of 418 Parker St., Gardner died Thursday in the Leo P. LaChance Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing, Gardner, following an illness.
Born in Gardner on June 9, 1913, she was the daughter of Hector and Mary (Cote) Fontaine.
With her husband she was co-owner of Bouthot's Shoe Repair of Gardner for many years.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church and its Ladies of St. Anne Society. She enjoyed playing cards, knitting and crafts.
Her husband of 62 years, Albert J. Bouthot, died in 2000.
She leaves 2 daughters, Elizabeth M. Covington of Gardner and Jean A. Deslauriers of Parrish, FL; 1 sister, Sister Estelle Fontaine of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary in Methuen; 4 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Monday from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols St., Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Rosary Church or to the Holy Rosary Church Organ Fund, 135 Nichols St., Gardner, MA 01440.
