Brian J. Dunn, 51, of Gardner, passed away Monday, February 8, 2016.
He was born in Cambridge on January 17, 1965, the son of Richard and Mary (Collins) Dunn of Gardner.
Brian attended Quabbin Regional High School of Barre, and graduated from Montachusett Technical High School of Fitchburg in 1983.
He was a United States Army Veteran of the 82nd Airborne Division and received the Parachute Badge, Expert Badge M-16, and the Expert Badge Hand Grenade.
Brian enjoyed working as a self- employed landscaper. He was previously employed for several years as a Mechanic for Maki Building Center of Gardner. He was also employed for many years at Simplex. He also worked in Security for Wachusett Mountain of Princeton.
Brian was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, camping and hiking.
Besides his parents, Brian leaves one son, Francis Dunn of Salt Lake City, UT; one granddaughter, one brother, Richard Dunn, Jr of Hubbardston; three sisters, Linda LaRoche and her husband Bruce of Hubbardston, Christine Murphy and her husband Glenn of Gardner and Jennifer Desroches and her husband David of Hubbardston; and many nieces and nephews.
Brian will be sadly missed by his family.
Family and friends are planning to honor and celebrate Brian's life by gathering for his memorial service to be held at a later date.
