Brian J. Duke

Brian J. Duke, 60, of Templeton, died peacefully Wednesday, October 23, 2019, in UMass Medical Center, Worcester, MA, after an illness.

Born in Alexandria, VA, on August 15, 1959, he was the son of the late James and Annie (McIntee) Duke. He graduated from Bedford High School in 1977, the University of Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Studies in 1983, a Master of Arts in 1987, and a Master of Science in Accounting in 1989. He was formerly employed by Wildwood Development as an accountant for several years.

Brian was a member of Holy Cross Church, Templeton, MA. He found great enjoyment from running, cycling, and reading lengthy history books.

Brian leaves two daughters Sarah Duke of Los Angeles, CA, and Stephanie Duke of Templeton; two brothers John Duke and his wife Wendy of Cypress, TX, and Jim Duke and his wife Shannon of Chesapeake, VA; one sister Cathy Hofmann of Kingwood, TX; several nieces, nephews and cousins including Bill Duke of Quebec, Canada. He also leaves his former wife Suzanne Racette of Templeton.

There are no services. A burial will be held at a later date in Ontario, Canada.
