Audrey Lynn (Adams) Illhardt, 43, of Gardner, died peacefully Friday, January 1, 2016 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, Lake Ave N, Worcester.
She was born in Heywood Hospital of Gardner on June 16, 1972, the daughter of Wilbur and Susan (Blais) Adams. She lived in Gardner all of her life.
Audrey was an animal lover above all else, having a weakness for special need animals of every species. In her youth, there wasn't an animal league or shelter that wasn't familiar with her. When she wasn't finding homes for animals she was making arts and crafts or being a full time mom. Always a free spirit, Audrey lived life to the fullest in spite of her Charcot Marie Tooth disease and never took no for an answer. In her passing Audrey was able to help others with her selfless gifts of organ donation.
Audrey is survived by her son, Anthony Illhardt of Leominster; mother, Susan Adams of Gardner; father, Wilbur Adams of Baldwinville; brother, Steven Adams of Gardner; companion, Ronnie Farnham; one nephew; one niece; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
There are no services scheduled.
