IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Amy Lee
Winter
May 19, 1966 – January 3, 2026
Amy Lee (Morse) Winter, 59, of Gardner, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 3, 2026, following a long and courageous illness. She was surrounded by those who loved her deeply.
Born in Fitchburg on May 19, 1966, Amy was the daughter of Jean (Hemingway) Myers and the late Arthur Morse. She was a graduate of Fitchburg High School, Class of 1985.
Throughout her life, Amy gave her time, energy, and heart to the people around her. In her younger years, she ran Foster Brook Daycare, a home daycare named after the brook that runs through her Gardner property. It was a place of safety, patience, and genuine care, reflecting Amy's natural ability to nurture and support others, a quality she carried throughout her life.
She later worked at Dennecrepe Corporation, where she helped keep office operations running smoothly while building lasting relationships with those she worked alongside. Amy also devoted many years of dedicated service to ACT Fastening Solutions in Gardner as an inside sales representative, where she was known for her reliability, kindness, and steady presence. Most recently, Amy supported her husband as they embarked on the journey of self-employment, allowing them the gift of warmth, comfort, and time together during her remaining years.
Amy embraced life with a deep appreciation for its simple joys. She found peace in sewing, embroidery, and country line dancing as well as quiet motorcycle rides. She loved spending time with her family camping at their summer getaway near the New Hampshire White mountains. She carried a calm, grounding presence wherever she went.
Above all else, Amy lived for her family. She supported everyone around her, often quietly and without expectation, making sure no one was ever left behind. She cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren, holding close the laughter, love, and memories they shared. Her love was steady, unconditional, and enduring.
Amy is lovingly survived by her husband, Brian A. Winter of Gardner; her daughter, Amanda Peabody and her husband Joseph of Gardner; her son, Robert R. Winter and his fiancé Ashley Rose of Gardner; her cherished grandchildren, Ethan Peabody, Kinsley Peabody, Aurora Winter, and another grandson expected in June; her sisters, Lisa Caissey, Sharon Morse Godin, and Kimberly Morse Fagan; her beloved aunt MaryLou Bessette; along with many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family & friends who were touched by her kindness.
In accordance with Amy's wishes, there will be no services.
