Alyce A. LeBlanc

May 12, 1942 — December 12, 2020

Alyce A. (Vermette) LeBlanc, 78, of Gardner, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020, in Quabbin Valley Healthcare, Athol, after an illness.

Born in Gardner on May 12, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Onesiphore “Lefty” and Anna (Krasawski) Vermette. She graduated from Gardner High School with the Class of 1960. Alyce was an assembler employed by Maki Corporation and SWS Corporation of Gardner for several years until her retirement in 2008.

Alyce was a parishioner of the former Sacred Heart of Jesus Church of Gardner and a parishioner of Annunciation Parish, where she attended Mass at its Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Campus. She loved to be outdoors—whether it was gardening, working in her flower beds, or taking care of her lawn. But the time she treasured the most was spent with her family.

Alyce is survived by her husband of 58-years, Alyre LeBlanc of Gardner; a son Jim LeBlanc and his significant other Jennifer Fontaine of Gardner; a grandchild, Jamie Lin LeBlanc; a brother Paul Vermette, Sr. of Templeton; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her sister-in-law, Caroline “Cookie” Vermette.

Due to the current COVID-19 Pandemic, Funeral Services will be PRIVATE but held Thursday, December 17, 2020. Flowers may be sent to the funeral home for the day of the service.
