Allison Lee Lison, 56, of Sanford, Maine, passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 in Brigham and Women’s Hospital of Boston following a brief illness.

Allison was born in Plattsburgh, NY on May 11, 1962, the daughter of Richard and Leonnette (Gallant) Lison.

She graduated from Sanford High School with the Class of 1981. At the time of her death, Allison was employed by Atlantic Broadband, formerly MetroCast, as a Customer Service Representative. She was a valued employee with the company for 18 years.

When she was not working, Allison loved spending time with her children. She also enjoyed tending to her flower and vegetable gardens, reading, and taking great care of her pet. Allison, or Allie as she was often called, is described by her close friends and family as sunshiny, full of energy, and a wonderful soul. She always had a way of making those around her feel special.

Besides her parents, Richard and Leonnette (Gallant) Lison of Gardner, Allison is survived by her daughter, Arien Lison, and her son, Corey Lison both of Buxton, ME; her brother, Michael Lison and his wife Jessica of Scarborough, ME; as well as several aunts and uncles, and close friends.

Allison did not wish to have funeral services so her family has opted to hold a Celebration of Life which will take place on Thursday, October 11th from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Oak Street Bistro in Alfred, ME. The celebration is open to all who would like to come and share their happy memories of her.

In leu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Welfare Society, 46 Holland Road, Kennebunk, Maine 04043. Please reference in memory of Allison Lison.
