She was an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion in Baldwinville. Alice greatly enjoyed traveling to the beaches of Florida, where she and her husband spent ten cherished years as snowbirds, soaking in the warm sunshine. She also loved the simple pleasures of summer, especially camping in Salisbury, as well as line dancing, ballroom dancing, crafting, and tending to her garden.
