Ana H. (Medina) Brown, 78, of Gardner, died peacefully Thursday, September 19, 2019, in Heywood Hospital, Gardner, surrounded by family.
Born in the Dominican Republic on May 27, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Fello and Maria Luisa (Guzman) Medina. She graduated from Dominica Republic High School with the class of 1959.
Ana was employed in the Dominican Republic as a secretary and stenographer, where she also wrote calligraphy. In her younger years she enjoyed spending time baton twirling.
She leaves one son, Luis Rodriguez, of New York, NY; one daughter, Ana V. Brown and her significant other, Wilmer Madric-Soto of Gardner; four sisters, Altagracia Medina, Dulce Medina, Elsa Medina and Rosalia Medina all of the Dominican Republic, two godchildren, Melanie Soto and Elvis Tejada; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by four brothers, Carlos Medina, Silvio Medina, Antonio Medina, and Juan Jose Medina; and one sister; Julie Tejada.
Funeral Services were held Sunday, September 22, 2019 in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner.
